Free Disability Sport at Home series
It gives us great pleasure to share with you the all new online disability sport series brought to you by the Disability Sport and Recreation Hub in partnership with 6 other sporting organisations. This wonderful offering provides you with the free Disability Sport at Home series.
Each session is designed to be inclusive of people with disability.
Each session will be run in partnership with a different organisation, giving you the opportunity to try different sport and recreational activities. It will be a fun and casual way to try something new!
Anyone can join in – no experience is needed – and each session is designed to be inclusive of people with disability. The sessions will be offered via Zoom. Once you have registered, Disability Sport and Recreation will contact you with further information.
You can take part in any of these sessions:
Tenpin Bowling, Wednesday 16 September, 12:30-1pm
Table Tennis, Wednesday 23 September, 12-12:30pm
Special Olympics, Saturday 26 September, 11-11:30am
Gymnastics, Wednesday 30 September, 12:30-1pm
Hockey, Wednesday 7 October, 1-1:30pm
Lawn Bowls, Friday 9 October, 12-12:30pm
You don’t need any experience with these sports or any sporting equipment to join in.
