iDareU helps others manage the disability systems better, by educating, empowering, and supporting them.

iDareU are holding an inaugural walkathon on Sunday, October 16th at 10:00am – 03:00pm
at Lilydale Lake.

This Social Story is for a person participating in this year’s walkathon.

The story describes the social situations and aims to help prepare individuals for social interaction by providing clear information about specific situations at the 2022 iDareU walkathon, outlining why they happen and what a typical response might be.

It is suited for an individual who may live with autism spectrum disorder, a specific language disorders, social communication difficulties or cognitive delays and disability. It is also aimed to support parents, carers and educators.
