Sensory Processing Disorder Awareness Training

Challenges with sensory processing disorder can be both overwhelming and isolating.

Individuals who live with this condition may feel overwhelmed due to sensitivity to lights, sounds, textures and smells. They may face challenges with motor skills, emotional regulation, interpreting social cues and maintaining concentration in sensory-rich environments.

Sensory-friendly environments can significantly enhance how organisations foster inclusive cultures for both staff and visitors. These environments make it easier for individuals with sensory challenges to live inclusive lives, ensuring a more comfortable and effortless experience.

Being able to build and maintain relationships, interact with others, participate in everyday activities, resolve issues and assist others in leading active lives is incredibly rewarding for individuals, workplaces and the wider community.

Which is why we would love for you to join us in our online AAA Sensory Processing Disorder Awareness Training.

How is AAA’S Sensory Processing Disorder Awareness Training delivered?

AAA’S Sensory Processing Disorder Awareness Training is a completely online video training program.

All course materials are beautifully designed to be easily understood, accessed and shared.

AAA’s Sensory Processing Disorder Awareness Training does not require a large commitment of time. One hour only is needed. The training covers five sections, focusing on four core pillars centered on sensory understanding that embraces individual differences. It includes addressing people’s needs with respect, courtesy and sensitivity, and emphasises strategies to create environments that cater to the needs of individuals with sensory challenges.

The pillars are segmented into sections, each offering a series of easy-to-follow, step-by-step video lessons featuring guest speakers, informative content, helpful visuals, resources and quizzes.

Our training does not include ‘homework’, ‘assignments’ or ‘workbooks’ for you to fill out – instead – we simply give you all the tools, knowledge and resources you need for success, allowing you to create an inclusive attitude and culture that will allow you and your visitors and clients to build connections.

Here’s an overview of each of the five sections that make up the core of the course:
