The Capital is a big place for shows and events. It started in 1991. Before, it was a Masonic Hall made in 1873. It’s a special building with tall columns and inside, it’s been made to look just like it did when it was first built.

It includes three spaces and is spread over two levels:

• The Capital Theatre Auditorium (480-seat capacity)
• Banquet Room (160-seat capacity)
• The Bendigo Bank Theatre (140 seat capacity).

The Access Key provides comprehensive information on accessing the theatre in both full-colour with photographs and large-print text-only versions.
