Wellesley Reserve Reserve’s unique playspace is the first of its kind in Monash, with a sensory play experience designed to engage children with additional needs.

There are accessible pathways with different artworks and textures, sound sculptures, a wavy mirror and seated spinner, plus a sensory garden trail to complement the traditional play pieces.

It also has a picnic table, bench seating, drinking fountain and grassed area.

The Access Key provides comprehensive information on accessing the playspace in both full-colour with photographs and large-print text-only versions.

A Social Story is available for a playspace visit, while a communication access sign aids individuals with complex communication barriers or non-English speakers.
