Sages Cottage Farm is a beautiful, historic 38-acre property in Baxter dating back to the 1850s with heritage protected buildings and grounds. It is owned and managed by Wallara – a sector leading support service for adults with different abilities.

Visitors to the property can visit the historic Sages Cottage and its outbuildings and learn about the history of the farm.  They can wander through the beautiful gardens and the conservation bushland, visit the animals or take a stroll around the tranquil lake which has 370 metres of accessible pathway which will soon be complemented by five sensory stations, each of which will be dedicated to one of the five senses.

Harvest Café sits at the heart of the property and includes a gift shop which sells a variety of gifts made by Wallara clients.

Sages Cottage Farm provides a range of training opportunities for young adults with different abilities, including hospitality, retail, horticulture and animal care.

Wallara’s aim is to build Australia’s most inclusive farm.
